Digital Art License Terms

These Digital Art License Terms (“License Terms”) apply to all digital art, illustrations, images, visual compositions, graphic files, and related downloadable visual assets sold by EBook ANVIL through [https://ebookanvil.com] (the “Website”), unless a separate written license expressly states otherwise.

These License Terms form part of the agreement between you and EBook ANVIL, together with our Terms of Service, Refunds & Digital Delivery Policy, and any product-specific terms shown on the product page or at checkout.

By purchasing, downloading, accessing, or using a digital art file from EBook ANVIL, you agree to these License Terms.

 

1. Ownership

All digital art files sold by EBook ANVIL remain the exclusive intellectual property of EBook ANVIL and/or its licensors, as applicable.

Your purchase does not transfer copyright, ownership, trademark rights, or any other intellectual property rights in the artwork. You are purchasing a limited license to use the file only as expressly stated in these License Terms.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

 

2. Default License Granted

Unless a different license is expressly stated on the product page or in a separate written agreement, EBook ANVIL grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the purchased digital art file for your own personal, non-commercial use only.

 

3. Permitted Personal Use

Under the default personal-use license, you may:

  • download and store the purchased file for your personal use;
  • view the artwork on your own devices;
  • print the artwork for your own personal display in your home, office, or other private space;
  • use a professional print service solely to complete a personal print job for your own private use;
  • place the artwork on personal-use items such as posters, framed prints, canvases, mugs, apparel, notebooks, or similar objects strictly for your own use and not for sale, giveaway, business use, promotion, or distribution.

Any personal-use printing or application must remain private and non-commercial.

 

4. What You May Not Do

Unless EBook ANVIL gives you prior written permission, you may not:

  • use the artwork for any commercial purpose;
  • sell, resell, license, sublicense, assign, transfer, gift, or distribute the file or any printed version of it;
  • upload the file to any marketplace, stock site, print-on-demand service, fulfillment platform, social platform, cloud drive, file-sharing service, or public repository;
  • use the file in logos, trademarks, branding, packaging, advertisements, client projects, websites, apps, social media campaigns, online stores, or promotional materials;
  • use the file in posters, art prints, apparel, home decor, merchandise, stationery, books, cards, templates, or other products for sale or distribution;
  • use the file in business premises, commercial interiors, hospitality spaces, showrooms, or staged properties for a commercial or promotional objective without an appropriate written license;
  • create derivative works for resale, licensing, or commercial display;
  • remove, alter, or obscure metadata, copyright notices, watermarks, proprietary notices, or authorship references;
  • claim the artwork as your own;
  • register the artwork, or any confusingly similar derivative of it, as your own intellectual property;
  • permit any third party to use the file outside the narrow personal-use permission granted by these License Terms.

 

5. Print Service Providers

You may provide the file to a third-party print service only to complete a personal print job that is permitted under your personal-use license.

You must use reasonable efforts to instruct the print provider:

  • to use the file only for your authorized print job;
  • not to retain, archive, reuse, resell, share, display, or copy the file; and
  • to delete the file after the print job is complete.

No print provider, employee, contractor, or intermediary receives any license from EBook ANVIL beyond the limited technical permission necessary to complete that single personal print job for you.

 

6. No Commercial Use

The default license does not include any commercial rights.

Without a separate written commercial license from EBook ANVIL, you may not use the artwork:

  • in any business activity;
  • in any marketing or promotional context;
  • in any client work;
  • in products or packaging for sale;
  • in interior design, home staging, office presentation, or hospitality display where the artwork is used as part of a commercial service or business setting;
  • in any monetized digital or physical environment.

If you want to use an artwork commercially, you must obtain a separate written license from EBook ANVIL before any such use begins.

 

7. No Print-on-Demand, Mass Production, or Merchandise Rights

The default personal-use license does not grant print-on-demand rights, merchandise rights, manufacturing rights, wholesale rights, retail rights, or any right to create goods for sale.

You may not use any EBook ANVIL artwork with services or platforms such as print-on-demand, made-to-order fulfillment, automated merchandise production, dropshipping, or similar systems.

 

8. No Redistribution of Digital Files

You may not share, email, upload, post, transfer, or otherwise distribute the digital file, in whole or in part, to any other person or entity.

This restriction applies even where no money is charged.

 

9. No AI Training, Datasets, or Automated Extraction

Unless EBook ANVIL gives you prior written permission, you may not use any artwork, preview image, product image, mockup, cropped sample, or associated metadata from the Website or from a purchased file for:

  • training or fine-tuning artificial intelligence systems;
  • building datasets;
  • prompt libraries;
  • automated extraction;
  • model evaluation;
  • image scraping;
  • machine learning workflows;
  • synthetic asset generation; or
  • similar computational uses.

 

10. No NFT, Tokenization, or Blockchain Use

You may not mint, tokenize, register, upload, associate, or otherwise use any EBook ANVIL artwork in connection with NFTs, blockchain assets, smart contracts, token-gated systems, or similar digital asset ecosystems.

 

11. No Implied Rights

No right or license is granted by implication, estoppel, or otherwise beyond the rights expressly stated in these License Terms.

Any use not expressly permitted is prohibited.

 

12. Breach and Consequences

Any breach of these License Terms automatically terminates the license granted to you, without prejudice to any other rights or remedies available to EBook ANVIL.

In the event of breach, EBook ANVIL may take one or more of the following actions:

  • revoke your license;
  • suspend account access;
  • block access to downloads;
  • issue takedown demands;
  • preserve evidence;
  • pursue claims for damages, injunctive relief, costs, and any other remedies available under applicable law.

 

13. Requesting a Commercial or Extended License

If you wish to request a commercial, extended, exclusive, or custom license for any artwork, contact info@ebookanvil.com before using the file for that purpose.

Any expanded license must be granted in writing by EBook ANVIL and signed or otherwise expressly confirmed by an authorized representative.

No oral statement, email exchange lacking explicit license terms, or customer assumption creates a commercial license.

 

14. Governing Terms

These License Terms are governed by the governing-law and dispute provisions set out in the EBook ANVIL Terms of Service, unless a separate written license agreement states otherwise.
